A$AP Rocky Clears Up Controversial Black Lives Matter Comments
Let the man live.
As tensions continue to rise in America in light of the recent murders of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile by police brutality, A$AP Rocky has now become the subject of controversy from an interview last year with Timeout where the Harlem rapper said ““I don’t wanna talk about no fu**ing Ferguson and shit because I don’t live over there! I live in fu**ing Soho and Beverly Hills. I can’t relate. I’m in the studio; I’m in these fashion studios; I’m in these bi**hes’ drawers. I’m not doing anything outside of that. That’s my life.” Someone went digging, and brought these comments to light on social media which of course started a firestorm. This morning, Rocky appeared on The Breakfast Club to elaborate on the interview, and explains he was misquoted and the person conducting the interview twisted his words trying to push an agenda.
