'Game of Thrones' Receives the Most 2018 Emmy Nominations
But HBO is no longer the most nominated network.

The nominations for the 2018 Emmy Awards have surfaced, and the hit-series Game of Thrones is leading the pack.
As Variety notes, the HBO drama earned the most Emmy nominations out of any other series in this year’s lineup, picking up an impressive 22 nominations. Notably, the program has scored nominations for coveted categories such as the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series. Westworld and Saturday Night Live both tie for the runner-up spot with 21 nominations each, while popular FX show Atlanta has picked up 16 nominations. Also of note: after 17 straight years of dominance, HBO is no longer the most nominated network, with Netflix shows earning the platform 112 nominations.
The 70th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on Monday, September 17 at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater; Saturday Night Live‘s Weekend Update anchors Michael Che and Colin Jost are set to host the event. You can check out the full list of nominees at Vox.
