A Kanye West NYC Block Party Might Be Happening Soon
Mayor de Blasio offers Kanye West his own block party in New York City.
Moments before Sunday night’s cancellation of Kanye West’s pop-up show at Webster Hall, Kim Kardashian shared a Snapchat of Kanye asking someone to call the mayor to ask if he would close off the surrounding blocks so everyone could see the surprise show. Apparently, the mayor was never actually reached, but the message from West got to de Blasio the next day. As of today, Mayor de Blasio and his wife Chirlane McCray want to make a Kanye West block party a reality, all while making it a charitable one for the youth of NYC.
