Summary:

  • Soho House is opening in Tokyo in spring 2026, its first ever location in Japan
  • It’s also launching its fourth and largest location in New York City, as well as Soho Farmhouse in Upstate New York
  • Additionally, the company’s introducing a new AI-assistant, “Ask Vanessa”, within its app

Soho House has unveiled ambitious plans for 2026 – including several new locations across the Americas, Europe and Asia – following a busy final quarter and transformative 30th anniversary year in which it went private in a deal worth $2.7 billion USD.

The London-based company recently opened its latest house in Manchester, UK, but much of its focus for next year appears set across the pond. It has plans to “fully renovate” Soho House New York – its 45,000-square-foot space overlooking the Hudson in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District – and revamp its member benefits with an increased focus on health and wellness. It is also opening an entirely new location in NYC, Soho House Flatiron, which will be its fourth and largest in the city and will include a Soho Health Club with its “most advanced gym”, a club, rooftop terrace, and hotel.

Outside the five boroughs, the brand has confirmed that construction will continue on its Upstate NY retreat, Soho Farmhouse New York, with plans for “a series of special dinners with guest chefs.” Additionally, the company is set to bring its Soho House Festival to The Big Apple for the first time in the fall, October 3, 2026, promising “an unforgettable day of live music, entertainment, and unlimited food and drink.”

The brand has also announced plans for the West Coast, where it will be updating the Soho House Holloway in Los Angeles and opening the all-new Soho House Los Cabos on the southern tip of Mexico’s Baja California peninsula. On the opposite side of the continent, Soho Beach House in Miami will also receive a “full renovation.”

Next year will also mark what the company calls “a major milestone”: its 50th house. The special occasion will see it enter the Japanese market for the first time, opening Soho House Tokyo in the spring. Located in the Minami-Aoyama neighborhood, it will “span four floors of club space, with a rooftop pool, wellness studio, and 42 bedrooms” – a space it says will be a “new home for our growing creative community in Japan.”

Soho House also has plans closer to home. In the UK, it’s planning to introduce The Lazy Wood at its Babington House location on the outskirts of London, an idyllic update delivering newly created outdoor wooden cabins (complete with all the creature comforts) “hidden around the secluded countryside grounds” for guests to use. The aforementioned Soho House Manchester – the company’s first location in the north of England – will also welcome the warmer months by opening its rooftop pool at some point mid-year.

Across Europe, the brand has confirmed plans to open new houses in Milan, Madrid and Lisbon, as well as a second new Italian location with the introduction of a Soho Farmhouse in Tuscany.

Soho House’s CEO, Andrew Carnie, also hinted at what the company has to come beyond next year, revealing it has plans to open further locations in the U.S. including a Soho Desert House in Palm Springs and a Soho Ranch House in Sonoma – the latter which he describes as “a Soho House first.” Carnie also confirmed the company’s global expansion will see it double-up in both Australia and India, with plans to open new houses in both Sydney and Melbourne, and Goa and Delhi, respectively.

And – in a sign of the times – Carnie further revealed that the company has plans to dabble in AI, saying it will be launching “a new digital concierge” called Ask Vanessa within the Soho House app.
