A Stirring Compilation of Kurt Cobain's Artwork and Journal Excerpts
A small peak inside the grunge rock icon’s perturbed mind.
Motion graphics company Tourist Pictures recently posted a video showing their acid-induced animations for Brett Morgan’s 2015 documentary film, Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck. At the Portland, Oregon-based company’s helm sits animator Stefan Nadelman who brilliantly weaved together a trove of artworks and journals devised by the Nirvana frontman himself. All in all, the video pays homage to the grunge rock icon by breathing life into Cobain’s personal creations that more or less reflect periods of unrest in the musician’s life.
