After a recent Walmart leak, it has been officially announced that a new Sonic arcade racing game called Team Sonic Racing is coming, complete with a new trailer. The game was previously teased in March and will focus on team-based mechanics during races, with multiplayer of up to 12 players joining in local and online multiplayer.

Teams will consist of classic characters in threes assisting each other by using moves to help friends and knock opponents out. It will also introduce special combination team attacks, car customizations, up to 15 playable characters, and Mario Kart-like power-ups. Expect more details on Sonic’s new racing game at E3 2018, but for now, check the trailer and share your thoughts below.
