Haider Ackermann Announces Unisex Runway for SS19 Collection
Joining the host of fashion houses leaving gendered runways behind.

Having already left Berluti earlier this year, Haider Ackermann is changing up his eponymous label. Joining the ranks of Givenchy, J.W. Anderson, Moncler, Balenciaga, Saint Laurent and Gucci, Ackermann will showcase a unisex Spring/Summer 2019 collection for Paris Women’s Fashion Week in September.
The move makes sense from both cultural and financial standpoints, with fashion moving towards a more progressive future and brands seeking to save money by cutting down their number of pricey runway presentations. Most recently, we touched on the best collections of Tbilisi Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2018.
