EXCLUSIVE: BRIDGE Wanders the City in "Lost My Mind" Video
Off his debut album ‘Wreck’ that was released last December.
BRIDGE drops the music video for “Lost My Mind,” a standout track off his debut album Wreck that came out in last December. In the new visual, BRIDGE is seen wandering Los Angeles, deep in thought. The singer/rapper breaks down the meaning behind the song and what can look for from him in the future.
I was working on an album but I think I’m more comfortable with the idea of putting out songs as I make them. The sound is definitely different from the last album. It’s more confident to say the least, both in soundscape and lyrics. But this is a song from the last album, it was one of my favorites and it definitely means more to me than some of the other songs do because the lyric on the hook, “spinning like a ghost at the bottom of the top,” was exactly how I was feeling and still sometimes feel. It’s the concept of being around the best, and people who are so on top of their craft and sometimes just feeling so little or alienated and not present. And the impact that made on me as a person and as a musician, but also how it affected my relationships as well.
Wreck is a 12-song LP that boast a multitude of sounds and excellent songwriting. Previously, BRIDGE caught attention from his 2014 single “Roll My Weed” featuring ScHoolboy Q. For the last few months, he’s been dropping loose singles, such as “Save Me” to “If Only” to “Break the Rules.”
