Toys "R" Us Has Huge Discounts on Apple Products as It Begins to Close Down
Toys “R” Gone.
As Toys “R” Us edges closer and closer to closing its U.S. stores across the country, some local stores have begun to sell discounted Apple products. Trade publication AppleInsider called five stores and four of them confirmed selling discounted Apple products.
Some folks have taken to Reddit to shed light on some of the discounts they’ve seen in-store, which include Apple TV 4Ks for $75 USD (usually $149 USD), and even the discontinued iPod Nano was selling in the same stores for $54 USD. Toys “R” Us recently filed a motion to liquidate its U.S. business, and the selling of such coveted products at low prices all but solidifies the chain’s erasure from contemporary America.
