Fresh off the delivery of a striking new video lookbook for Stone Island‘s Spring/Summer 2018 Shadow Project capsule, the beloved brand teasers an “alligator camouflage” release for its forthcoming seasonal lineup.

New outerwear pieces make up the latest additions to Stone Island’s Spring/Summer 2018 offering. Specifically, fans of Stone Island can expect to receive new jackets and parkas in “light cotton-nylon rep,” a lightweight material constructed using a “cotton warp and super fine nylon weft woven with a rep weaver.” For the field jackets and Bermudas included in the new Spring/Summer drop, “light cotton-nylon tela” is employed.

For inspiration, Stone Island’s designers took their cues from Poland’s military archives. Besides the standout outerwear selections, the tees and sweatshirts also use the aforementioned design schemes. To describe the physical processes behind the items, an official Stone Island statement reveals the following:

“The pattern has been hand painted, then photographed and printed with a series of techniques and a 6 color printing process: 5 pigment colors and 1 colored polyurethane with a raised rubberized effect.”

You can preview Stone Island’s military-inspired Spring/Summer 2018 “alligator camouflage” range above, and stay tuned for more images of the collection’s wares. At the beginning of this month, Stone Island revealed plans for a garment-dyed plated reflective outerwear line.
