Takuji Yamada’s NAME., based in Tokyo, returns with another array of relaxed gear, following up on Spring/Summer 2018 with an assortment of winter items. Christened “ICONES,” the array reworks inspiration from film and youthful favorites into an assortment of contemporary goods.

Centered around the brand’s preferred loose silhouettes, items vary from hard-wearing workwear to light-hearted graphic goods. Unrestrained by a simple color palette, the items range from light red sweatpants to a massive yellow trucker jacket, complete with built-in belt. Green and black buffalo plaid patterns appear on fur hats and sweaters, complementing the contrasting, jacquard-print elephant pattern seen on various knitwear. Elsewhere, track jackets and slit-hem pants bring sporty inspiration to the denim-heavy assortment, with collegiate-type sweaters furthering the youthful motif.

Look for the goods to hit NAME.’s web store later this year and stay tuned for a look at the complementary women’s line.

Elsewhere in Japan, Tokyo’s Liberaiders offers a slightly more conventional selection of goods for Spring/Summer 2018.
