Nike: ON AIR Workshop Sign-Ups Open in New York City

Earlier this week, Nike revealed plans to give its most talented followers an opportunity to design their own shoe. Now, we’re receiving a full, detailed breakdown of how to enter the ON AIR sneaker design workshop.
From Tuesday, March 27 to Saturday, March 31, participants will be able to “create and submit their very own design concepts for a New York Air Max sneaker based on existing Air Max icons.” The creative sessions will give interested parties a journey through the same process that Nike’s own footwear designers engage in. Following the conclusion of the submission process, a “panel of experts will choose “three individual Air Max concepts from New York to be converted into 3D designs.” An online Nike: ON AIR voting platform will showcase the designs, giving the public an opportunity to vote on the Air Max design they like the most.
