IWC Reveals Special Edition Ingenieur Chronograph Sport Watch
One of 176.
Following its special charity “Small Pilot” model, IWC has unveiled a new upgrade for the Ingenieur Chronograph Sport watch. The new release is the first time that IWC has combined the bidirectional winding system from its 69000 calibre family with a model from its Ingenieur line.
In terms of appearance, the case is made of titanium and has a diameter of 44 millimetres. The silver-plated dial is contrasted with black subdials, blue chronograph hands and luminescence-coated black hands. Elsewhere, the watch features elements inspired by the first Ingenieur from 1955, including the soft-iron inner case. Lastly, the limited-edition model features a “76” imprint — a nod to the 76th meeting of the Goodwood Members. The Ingenieur Chronograph Sport Edition “76th Members’ Meeting at Goodwood” will be limited to just 176 numbered editions, with each coming with a black calfskin strap.
