Rich The Kid & Kendrick Lamar's "New Freezer" Goes Platinum
It currently sits at No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Rich The Kid and Kendrick Lamar‘s “New Freezer” has gone Platinum. The single comes off of the Atlanta rapper’s The World Is Yours album. The record was officially certified platinum by the RIAA on March 13. The song currently sits at No. 44 on the Billboard Hot 100. Rich the Kid’s other single, “Plug Walk” sits at No. 48 on the Hot 100.
The song’s success was partially due to the #NewFreezerChallenge and the Kendrick Lamar feature. Rich and Lamar also destroyed a Lamborghini to the song at the Brit Awards. Rich the Kid currently has very high hopes for his upcoming album. “This will be the greatest album of 2018,” he says. “Best hip-hop album—you heard it here! There’s no other rapper that will drop a better album than me. No one.”
