Part of the Nike Air Max Zero “Imaginairs” Collection, the bold iteration was designed by Chinese actor-singer Wang Junkai. Junkai and seven other young creatives were invited to the sneaker giant’s HQ to collaborate with footwear designers on new unique looks.
Junkai’s take on the Air Max Zero features a bleach-splotched upper sitting atop a spray camo midsole. While creative details on the shoe come in the form of 3M reflective Swoosh logos, “Fly By Air” and “Just Do It” found on the heels and insole, and Nike branding on the heels and tongue.
Although no pricing details just yet, the Air Max Zero by Wang Junkai is expected to drop at select Nike Sportswear retailers later this month to coincide with Air Max Day. For more Nike news, the sneaker giant is set to drop the Air Max 1 “Just Do It” in bright orange.
