Converse Takes It Back to the '90s for One Star Sandal
A modern take on an old slide.

Last month, Converse injected a “Cotton Candy” pack into the One Star Low lineup. A multi-colored run, that range delivered lighter-toned blue, green and pink takes on One Star’s popular low-cut silhouette. Now, Converse Japan is introducing a ’90s-motivated One Star Sandal.
Inspired by the slides of past eras, Converse Japan’s new One Star Sandal is a rework of a popular 1990s Converse release. The world-renowned company’s instantly-recognizable canvas fabric is utilized for the upper, while the combination of a lightweight sole and a sturdy EVA footbed round out the item’s construction. For choices, black, red and blue models are being unleashed. Altogether, this sandal delivers style, comfort and above-average durability.
You can take a look at the new Converse One Star Sandal above, while consumers can expect to find their own pairs at select Converse Japan retailers.
For the forthcoming seasonal lineup, Converse will be dropping several bright and bold iterations of the One Star.
