St. Vincent, Sounwave & Terrace Martin Remake Rolling Stones' "Emotional Rescue"
Annie Clark is a national treasure.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard some new material from St. Vincent, but the multi-talented Annie Clark is back today with another new record. While this might not exactly be a new single or a new original effort, it’s just as impressive. For her contribution to the soundtrack for the new Luca Guadagnino film A Bigger Splash, St. Vincent cooks up her own take on the classic title track off The Rolling Stones‘ 1980 album Emotional Rescue. It’s an good, if unexpected, move by Clark, who pretty much dominates anything she does. You can check out the cover above.
