Beyoncé has revealed a 20th-anniversary edition of her 2006 album B'Day, released on her September 4 birthday

The expanded digital version runs to 31 tracks and folds in four previously unreleased songs alongside the original lineup

New collaborations with Maluma and Selena Quintanilla arrive next to a full remaster of the era's music videos

Beyoncé has unveiled a 20th-anniversary edition of B’Day, her sophomore album, timed to her birthday on September 4. The expanded digital reissue stretches the record to 31 tracks, pairing the 2006 originals with a set of previously unreleased material and two high-profile new collaborations.

The reissue’s biggest draw is the vault material. Four previously unreleased songs join the tracklist: “Creole,” “Back Up,” “Lost Yo Mind,” and “Can I Watch You,” the last featuring Pharrell Williams. Those sit alongside a remastered version of the original 2006 album, positioning the edition as both an expansion and a clean-up of the source recordings.

Two collaborations anchor the new additions. “Cuerpo Tumbao (Get Me Bodied)” marks Beyoncé’s first time working with Maluma and builds on a sample of Celia Cruz’s “La Negra Tiene Tumbao.” A press release ties the choice to Beyoncé’s respect for the late artist, noting she has “long admired Cruz’s pride in her African culture; her refusal to bend in the wake of racism, colorism and the narrow definition of beauty.” The second is “Irreemplazable (Como La Flor),” a duet built with the late Selena Quintanilla and cleared through Selena’s estate, extending a Latin influence Beyoncé has cited across her Spanish-language work, including her 2007 EP Irreemplazable.

The visual side of the era got the same treatment as the audio. Beyoncé remastered the accompanying videos, all originally shot on 35mm, recoloring the footage and finishing it in 4K. Among them is a redone version of “Déjà Vu,” featuring JAY-Z and directed by Sophie Muller, which dropped alongside the anniversary release.

Beyoncé first teased the anniversary edition on July 4 with “Morning Dew (Donk),” starting a 60-day countdown to the reveal. The original B’Day set the bar it now builds on, arriving in summer 2006 as a Number One album, later certified quintuple platinum by the RIAA, and home to hits including “Irreplaceable,” “Déjà Vu,” and “Ring the Alarm.”
