Like many things, burgers come in all shapes and sizes. Many claim the title of the creator of the perfect burger, and Michelin-starred chef April Bloomfield is no exception. The difference here is that Bloomfield might actually be the rightful heir to that crown. Within her Salvation Burger kitchen, the chef/restaurant owner cooked up more than just a recipe for making what should be deemed the perfect burger. This methodical approach is done by examining the very first stage of the burger: the steer. Research on the perfect farm for its perfect steer is followed by finding the perfect slaughterhouse for absolute quality in how the meat is handled. This meticulous approach is then taken to all following steps that lead to the end result. In saying that, like many things, food is subjective, so if you ever find yourself in Manhattan, be sure to pop in to Salvation Burger to decide for yourself. In the meantime check out the video above to see Bloomfield in action.
