Kanye West’s "Father Stretch My Hands Pt.2" Goes Platinum After Releasing Two Years Ago
A long time coming.

After two long years, Kanye West‘s “Father Stretch My Hands Pt.2” single was recently certified platinum by the RIAA.
The Recording Industry Association of America recently revealed that Kanye’s Desiigner-assisted track moved over 1,000,000 units despite being two years old. “Father Stretch My Hands Pt.2” is the first single off of The Life of Pablo to go platinum, despite the streaming-only album going platinum shortly after its release. Additionally, although “Father Stretch My Hands Pt.2” only recently went platinum, the track has served as a marker of the genius of Kanye’s eight platinum album.
