Bruno Mars Wants a Hip-Hop Halftime Show for Super Bowl 2019
“All jokes aside please let’s make that happen.”
With his star power at an all-time high after cleaning up house at the 2018 Grammys that included his capturing of the coveted Album of The Year award, Bruno Mars is now calling upon the NFL to include hip-hop acts as headliners for the 2019 Super Bowl halftime show. This following Justin Timberlake’s recent Super Bowl LII performance that reportedly earned Nike a cool $3 million USD that night through organic advertising. The previous year, it was Lady Gaga who headlined the Super Bowl 50 halftime show.
Posting on Twitter, the “Finesse” singer wrote: “@NFL you have the opportunity to celebrate incredible Hip Hop Artist from Atlanta next year.” He also pointed out a few Atlanta artists in specific, “Outkast. T.I Gucci, lil jon, Jeezy, Jermaine Dupri just to name a few. it would be the best party Tv has ever seen!”
