Eckhaus Latta Reveals Clown-Themed Denim Campaign
If you’re afraid of clowns, this one isn’t for you.
New York-based label Eckhaus Latta is known for its unconventional campaigns – the brand’s Spring/Summer 2017 imagery featured real couples having sex — and the lookbook for its latest denim collection is no different. The campaign was shot by Hanna Moon, with models wearing the classic EL Jean and clown-like makeup. This clown theme continues, with an It-like red balloon also appearing in the imagery.
The team behind the brand hinted at the influence of other brand’s famous denim campaigns. Speaking to Dazed, Mike Eckhaus and Zoe Latta said they had been considering a denim campaign for a number of seasons: “We’ve been looking at classic denim campaigns for a while.
