Thames Releases Spring/Summer 2018 Lookbook
Blondey McCoy models the subculture-focused collection himself.
Thames, the London-focused label founded by Blondey McCoy, has just released the imagery for its Spring/Summer 2018 lookbook. The collection was modeled by Blondey himself and was shot by Michael James Fox in a series of seaside locations, showing the 20-year-old skater lounging in his own wares.
The collection itself continues working on the themes Thames is known for, twisting popular iconography such as British currency, the Queen, and ‘70s blue literature. Some of the newer influences Andy Warhol’s pop art, specifically the Campbell’s soup can, which Thames have twisted by blending it to include old English adverts for cola and whisky. Take a look through the gallery to see the lookbook for yourself. We recently went on the road with Blondey McCoy, where he talked about the pressures of his busy lifestyle.
