After expanding its partnership with the Andy Warhol Foundation last year, American fashion house Calvin Klein has released an underwear capsule featuring some of the iconic pop artist’s work. The new capsule sees stills of couples from Warhol‘s 1963 film Kiss, which featured people kissing for three-and-a-half minutes each — breaking Hollywood’s law at the time that dictated the length of on-screen kisses.
The capsule itself features classic pieces such as trunks and T-shirts in white cotton, printed with black-and-white shots from the experimental film. References to Warhol’s work are also present in Raf Simons’ Spring/Summer 2018 collection for Calvin Klein, with nods to the artists’ “Knives” and “Electric Chair” images.
The full Kiss underwear collection is available now on the Calvin Klein web store. The brand has also recently unveiled the campaign imagery for its Spring/Summer 2018 collection.
