Facebook to Open New London Headquarters
Next to Google’s $1.3 Billion USD campus.
Facebook is reportedly set to open a new British headquarters in London, around the corner from Google’s proposed BIG and Thomas Heatherwick-designed campus. The space, in London’s Kings Cross, is set to consist of four buildings and cover 65,000 square meters, which is more than triple the size of Facebook’s current location in the British capital.
Other news about the project is currently under wraps, with no details on an architect currently announced. There is speculation that the new site will be designed by Frank Gehry, the legendary 88-year-old architect who was behind Facebook’s California campus and existing London offices and is working on the company’s Dublin office.
