The Nike LeBron 16 "SB" Will Release During Tonight's Lakers vs. Warriors Game
Followed by a limited release the next morning.
As a special Christmas Day release, Nike is set to release the LeBron 16 in “SB” colorway this holiday during the Lakers vs. Warriors game.
The sneaker, which is LeBron James‘s signature basketball sneaker and part of the LeBron Watch project of releases, is clad in Battleknit white with red, yellow and blue accents across its upper and midsole, resembling the colors of Superman or more accurately “SuperBron.” Alongside the standard details — rear ankle Swoosh, metal lace hardware, clear midsole elements and more — the sneaker also encapsulates the highest of quality and performance-driven technology and design to give each user a custom-feeling fit. Year 2 of LeBron Watch will feature not only this 16 rendition, but word of a LeBron Retro 3 “SB” will also see the light of day.
Release of the “SuperBron” LeBron 16 will strike tonight at tip-off of the Lakers vs. Warriors game at 5 p.m. PST on SNKRS app and will draw for 23 mins precisely. Afterwards, the LeBron 16 “SB” will see a limited release at House of Hoops stores followed by a mobile truck activation in LA.
