Advent Calendar Day 25: Autographed Slick Rick The Ruler Silkscreen Shot by Jonathan Mannion
A collaboration with Mannion and Compound.
Not too long ago, Compound — a creative space helmed by Set Free and Yasiin Bey — hosted “I Got A Gallery. I Got A Show” featuring photographs by famed photographer and director Jonathan Mannion. One of the pieces in the collection is a photo from The Art of Storytelling session with Slick Rick The Ruler in 1999.
Now Jonathan Mannion and Compound will collaborate to give one lucky fan an exclusive silkscreen with world-class printmaker Gary Lichtenstein of a photo from The Art of Storytelling session to celebrate Slick Rick’s 30th Anniversary of “A Children’s Story.”
The one-of-25 limited-edition piece given away will feature a special ‘diamond dust’ detailing on Slick Rick’s jewelry, which also includes signatures from Jonathan Mannion and Slick Rick.
One lucky winner will win this incredible piece, valued at $1,500 USD, while others can purchase 24 other limited edition pieces for a reduced holiday price of $750 USD until further notice on Compound and Mannion websites.

The winners of the Advent Calendar will be announced on December 27.
