Kim Jones Receives Trailblazer Accolade at 2018 Fashion Awards

The British Fashion Council recently celebrated the creativity and innovation in the global fashion industry with its annual Fashion Awards.

Standing out amongst the exceptional group of individuals and influential businesses was Kim Jones, who received the event’s inaugural Trailblazer Award. The honor comes immediately after Jones showed off his rejuvenation of Dior menswear with a highly lauded Pre-Fall 2019 showing in Tokyo, and also acknowledges his progressive outlook on fashion throughout his career.

Truly a celebration of who and what made moves in 2018, Virgil Abloh received the Urban Luxe Award for everything he has done with Off-White™, while Samuel Ross was rightfully recognized as the British Emerging Talent Menswear winner. Another big award went to Gucci, as the Italian house took home Brand of the Year.
