Nike Drops the Air Max 97 in "Metallic Gold/University Red"
More gold to don on your feet.
After releasing in a “Metallic Gold/Metallic Silver” colorway last week, Nike has returned to the Air Max 97 to drop a newly formulated fourth iteration of the “Metallic Gold” pack.
The “Metallic Gold/University Red” color scheme features an immaculately laid gold mudguard paired with reflective overlays, retaining its woven silver mesh to produce a classic two-tone look. The gold-colored Air Max unit is paired with a white contrasting midsole embedded with contrasting red accents near the toe and heel. More red accents are incorporated in the Swoosh branding marking the mid-foot and tongue.
The Air Max 97 “Metallic Gold/University Red” can be purchased now for £145 GBP (~$182 USD) via Life Style Sports’ web store and is likely bound for a US-based release in the coming weeks.
