Nike Air Max 97 "Game Royal/Metallic Silver" Dons a Mesh Base
Taking cues from vintage sports jerseys.
Nike continues its Air Max 97 streak, taking off from its recently-unveiled “Metallic Gold/University Red” edition to debut another new colorway of “Game Royal/Metallic Silver.”
This vibrant pair features a patriotic blue, red and white scheme across its upper, which sees a mesh textile base inspired by vintage sports jerseys. The familiar palette is accented with hits of metallic silver at the leather mid stripe and embroidered mini Swoosh, while Velcro patch tongue branding and multicolor heel pull tabs round out the color theme.
Nike’s Air Max 97 “Game Royal/Metallic Silver” will release in the near future for $160 USD at Nike’s web store and select retailers.
