Converse Reveals Full Utilitarian "Mountain Club" Collection
Featuring GORE-TEX takes on the Chuck Taylor All Star, One Star and Fastbreak.

After dropping a glittery “After Party” pack, Converse has taken a different approach for its utilitarian “Mountain Club” capsule. The new release features three Converse silhouettes — the Chuck Taylor All Star, One Star and Fastbreak — each of which has been reworked with influences from Converse’s archive, including its military heritage.
All three sneakers in the pack feature GORE-TEX technology as well as rugged other touches including oversized treads, ankle straps and rubber overlays. The pack’s utilitarian influence continues with instructions such as “FOLD GUSSET THIS SIDE ONLY” and “KEEP DOUBLE LACED TO HOLD FIRMLY” visible on the upper. The full Mountain Club collection is available from the Converse web store and via select retailers from November 8.
