Goku Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Balloon Takes First Flight
56-foot-tall Super Saiyan.
Following up a first look, we now have video of the Goku Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade balloon taking flight for the first time at the American department store chain’s pre-festivity Balloonfest test.
Created to celebrate the release of Dragon Ball Super: Broly, the 56-foot-tall parade float take on the popular character is expected to be a main draw of the annual parade taking place in Manhattan, New York City. Since 1927, the larger than life balloons have served as a signature element of the parade and pay homage to some of the biggest figures in entertainment and pop culture. This year the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will feature 15 other giant character balloons, 43 novelty balloons, 26 floats, 1,200 cheerleaders and dancers, more than 1,000 clowns and 12 marching bands.
Macy’s 92nd Thanksgiving Day Parade will take place on November 22 and will be streamed on Verizon‘s YouTube page.
