The first official trailer for Marvel’s Daredevil season 3 has arrived, teasing the release of Kingpin from prison and an impersonator Daredevil running the streets. In the footage above, we see a thought-to-be-dead Matt Murdock at his bottom, striving not to let his bad day transform him into The Punisher, as Castle teased in the previous season.

We also see Kingpin making a deal with the FBI to be released from prison, on a mission to destroy Matt Murdock’s personal life. We then see an unnamed man confirmed by Netflix to be Benjamin Poindexter A.K.A. Bullseye (DD’s arch-nemesis from the comics), wearing Matt’s red costume, and killing people under his name. It’s an attack on all fronts of Matt’s life, and it has seemingly whittled the Devil down to his most vicious state yet. Daredevil season 3 arrives October 19.

Check out the visuals above and share your thoughts below.

In related news, the new trailer for Netflix’s Sabrina The Teenage Witch series is here.
