Disney+ and Marvel Studios have debuted the first official trailer for VisionQuest, setting an autumn launch date for the eight-episode streaming series. The show marks the conclusion of the WandaVision trilogy.
The footage opens with Vision living in human form as a pub worker reflecting on his past relationship with Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen). Retreating into a hidden universe inside his own mind, the synthezoid grapples with his lost memories and artificial identity. The teaser reveals the return of James Spader as the rogue AI Ultron, alongside James D’Arcy reprising his role as J.A.R.V.I.S., who warns Vision about the dangers of harboring his former creator.
Marking Bettany’s first live-action Marvel Cinematic Universe appearance since WandaVision, the series explores an ensemble cast composed of Marvel’s artificial intelligence entities. The roster features Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., T’nia Miller as Jocasta, and Ruaridh Mollica portraying an adult version of Tommy Maximoff.
VisionQuest officially premieres October 14 on Disney+.
