Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2018 has just concluded and the Czech Republic’s most stylish came out to support and parade their favorite labels. Though some European designers such as Gosha Rubchinskiy have steered much of the international fashion world’s gaze on Eastern European style, Prague still falls relatively under-the-radar amongst other fashion capital heavy weights — such as New York, whose second round of 2018 spring/summer fashion week is just about to take place.
In this edition of streetsnaps, we see some of the last hurrahs of the warmer season come through via T-shirts and breezy button-downs, but mostly, we begin to see more versatility in transitioning season style, as more overcoats, jackets and layering techniques were displayed on the streets.
In line with our trend coverage for this season, all of the most buzzworthy themes — chunky sneakers, clean stripe motifs and bold logos — were celebrated on the historic streets of Prague. Noteworthy pieces from some of the most relevant labels such as Raf Simons, Balenciaga, J.W.Anderson, A-COLD-WALL* and Off-White™ were fully flexed while other style details such as drawstring accents, bunched up hems and cuffs, as well as a particular fondness of dark green outerwear also caught our eye.
