The Weeknd & PUMA's Debut XO Collection Will Drop This Summer
Utilitarian wares and the all-new Parallel sneaker silhouette.
The Weeknd and PUMA made a splash last week with their official announcement of a collaborative high-top sneaker dubbed “Parallel.” Now, the fledgling cohorts have unveiled the release of its long-anticipated collection that spans utilitarian apparel and sport-inspired footwear silhouettes centering upon the aforesaid model. Conclusively, the inaugural PUMA x XO range will purvey a striking series of bomber jackets, modernized kimonos, high-top boots and mid-cut sneaker boots.
Accompanying the release announcement is a lookbook for the collection that was captured in Marfa, Texas. Set against desolate landscapes, the visuals showcase several key pieces in the gamut. The R&B singer dons a burnt-orange raincoat, rugged trousers in midnight navy, and the Parallel sneakers predominantly wrapped in an off-white colorway. More precisely, the PUMA Parallel is equipped with a premium nubuck/leather upper, a rubber midsole with IGNITE cushioning technology, and then topped off with a blocked heel design for an overall contemporary look.
Check out the photos above and expect the entire collection to drop on August 24 at PUMA’s official website and select retailers worldwide.
