Munich-based brand A Kind of Guise has released a new editorial that showcases the label’s 2017 fall/winter collection. Titled “Nagoya Carps,” the new collection is inspired by baseball in Japan, with caps and coach jackets featuring the letter A. This inspiration has also been referenced with a mix of the cut of vintage Japanese baseball kits with the brand’s commitment to hand making pieces in its native Germany.
As well as mixing different design inspirations, the collection also features a range of high-end materials, with everything from Italian wool and British Harris Tweed being used alongside Japanese denim and German corduroy. The 2017 fall/winter ”Nagoya Carps” collection is available from A Kind of Guise’s stores in Munich and Berlin, as well as select stockists and the brand’s web store.
Earlier this year, A Kind of Guise also unveiled its first ever eyewear collection, with a range of made-in-Germany sunglasses.
