A Closer Look at the Bodega x ASICS Collaborative GEL-Mai "Underground"
An intriguing mashup of colors and materials.
Bodega is next in line to dress up the ASICS GEL-Mai model. Dubbed the “Underground” the collaborative silhouette mixes ostrich, nubuck, pebbled leathers and suede throughout its upper while resting atop of a translucent outsole. Tangerine nylon webbing and striped mesh also join in on the fold while complemented by a lavender jewel on its heel branding. Housed in special packaging, the collaborative Bodega x ASICS GEL-Mai “Underground” will be accompanied by a trio of laces in white, lavender and tangerine options.
We first saw the sneaker in a video lookbook which will also launch alongside apparel via a hoodie, longsleeve and shortsleeve tees. The forthcoming Bodega x ASICS GEL-Mai “Underground” will launch on June 23 at 11 a.m. EST exclusively in-store in addition to Bodega’s web store for $170 USD.
