Japanese Brand soe Continues the Academic Influence for 2018 Spring/Summer
Featuring oversized shirts and updated tailoring.

Tokyo based soe has released the lookbook for its 2018 spring/summer collection, which builds on the theme of Japanese academia and conservative concepts. It’s a similar influence to the brand’s 2017 fall/winter drop which saw classic pieces adapted and reworked. Key pieces in this transitional drop include oversized shirts, updated blazers, and an all-over print coat. The brand’s loose fit aesthetic and modern reworks of traditional pieces is present in this collection, as it has been in previous drops.
Recent collections from the brand have seen influences drawn from both Japan and the United Kingdom, based around founder Soichiro Ito’s upbringing across the two countries. The 2018 spring/summer collection won’t be dropping for a while but you can head to soe’s website for more information.
