'Forbes' Reveals the Richest Rappers of 2017
Over two billion dollars of wealth.
Following up March’s “Hip-Hop Cash Princes” list, Forbes has published its annual roundup of the rap game’s wealthiest superstars. Per usual, Puff Daddy/Diddy ($820 million USD), JAY Z ($810 million USD) and Dr. Dre ($740 million USD) dominate the list of hip-hop’s richest. Rounding out the top five rankings are Birdman at $110 million USD and Drake at $90 million USD; collectively, there’s well over 2 billion dollars of cash between all five of rap’s richest artists.

Next month, Apple Music will debut an authorized documentary about Puff Daddy and the recent Bad Boy reunion. JAY Z might also be adding to his resume in the near future with the release of a new album.
