Last year adidas stirred up quite a frenzy with its official entry into the 3D-printed sneaker arena. When news first broke out of the Three Stripes’s Futurecraft prototype, enthusiasts, boutique shops and seemingly everyone in between went wild trying to get their hands on them. While the first round were gifted to select Olympic athletes, a limited run made its way to the sportswear giant’s NYC flagship store for a price of $333 USD. According to a new image that has surfaced online, it appears as though adidas is continuing on with the futuristic technology in a brand new silhouette style. Differing ever-so slightly from the brand’s initial release is the appearance of a thicker midsole unit and the absence of the heel cage. While no other information has been made available, stay tuned for more updates.
