Showcased by adidas Creators Base in Brazil, was the 3D-printed Futurecraft. The performance sneaker is one of the first models to include an entirely 3D-printed sole unit, which inevitably happens to be slightly stiffer than Ultra Boost soles. The upper on this model is composed of an all-new knit which has been designed to be more porous and durable and a Continental outsole. This innovative approach means major change in how consumers buy their sneakers. The ability to 3D print a shoe in store, means shoes no longer have to spend up to 40 days on a boat after production — they can simply be made to size at purchase. Check out the photos above, as we take a closer look at the new adidas Futurecraft.
