Reebok Classics Explores Its Impact on UK Street Culture for 2017 Spring/Summer
Plenty of nostalgia via throwback sneakers and track jackets.
Fresh off of a new partnership with Teyana Taylor and a look at its latest Vetements collab, Reebok throws it back with its Spring 2017 Classics Collection. A first look at the line arrives in the form of a short film chronicling the evolution of the brand amongst UK subcultures. Fusing archival footage taken from the late ’90s and the UK garage scene with a performance by UK grime artist Jesse Solomon and the wider Radar Radio crew, Reebok highlights its role amongst the underground for the past 30 years.
Featuring silhouettes that have stood the test of time, the video offers glimpses of the Club C, Classic Leather, and the Freestyle Hi along with classic track jackets, graphic hoodies and T-shirts. Take a look at the video preview above and visit the official Reebok website to learn more.
