Fear of God's "Racing Collection" Combines a Variety of Sporting Influences
Including collaborations with New Era and several merch T-Shirt collectors.
Fear of God has just revealed new lookbook images for its “Racing Collection” ahead of its official release this coming weekend. The range draws heavy influence from the rebirth of fashion’s recent motocross trend, with items borrowed from its own Fifth Collection, not to mention collaborative pieces from a handful of other such brands.
From the imprint’s aforementioned Fifth Collection, we see here the motocross track pant in various tricolored tonal schemes, the basketball sneaker done up in white and a pair of military sneakerboots, one in black and the other in yellow. Also on offer are a series of band merch T-shirts — created in cooperation with Saint Luis, Tyranny + Mutation and Never Gonna Turn Down Again, with a Los Angeles Dodgers fitted cap design with New Era. The collection will make its debut on November 4 at ComplexCon.
The official tagline of the collection reads, “If you have raced with men on foot, and they have tired you out, then how can you compete with horses?”
In other fashion news, Samuel Ross teased a fragment design x A-COLD-WALL* collaboration.
