Comedian Ralphie May Has Passed Away at 45
The comedy world mourns.

TMZ reports comedian Ralphie May passed away after suffering a heart attack at a private residence in Vegas Friday morning. May, 45, had been battling pneumonia for six weeks, but performed in Vegas Thursday evening. He is survived by his wife, comedian Lahna Turner, and two kids, daughter April June May and son August James May.
Ralphie caught his big professional break back in 2003 when he finished second on the first season of Last Comic Standing. Over the next 14 years, the Arkansas-bred comedian released a number of stand-up specials, including 2015’s Ralphie May: Unruly on Netflix.
A number of fellow comedians have taken to Twitter to say a few words in May’s name. Rest in peace, Ralphie.
