The Trailer for 'Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams' Questions Humanity
With an incredibly diverse A-list cast.
The first trailer for Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams television adaptation was just unveiled at New York Comic Con. The 10-episode anthology series draws influence from the author’s work The Minority Report in its dream-like aesthetic and will debut outside the UK on Amazon Prime exclusively.
The trailer is full of weird and wonderful science fiction visions of our future, all based on Dick’s writings, with scenes each telling different stories all tied by a common theme of tech and humanity. The series stars Terrence Howard, Anna Paquin, Steve Buscemi, Greg Kinnear, Janelle Monae and Bryan Cranston, who also serves as executive producer. The book in which the series is adapting is also the same novel Blade Runner is based off of.
