Garbstore & Reebok Reimagine the Sportswear of the '70s
The fellow Brits re-team for the Fall/Winter 2016 season.

Fellow Brits Garbstore and Reebok are continuing their longstanding collaborative relationship, re-teaming for a brand new Fall/Winter 2016 drop. Paying homage to Reebok’s running heritage and 1970s sportswear, the range — highlighted here with a unique illustrated lookbook — is highlighted by vintage-inspired styles in decidedly old-school color schemes and washed organic cottons. Included are everything from windrunners and warm-up jackets to tees and sweats — all of which come with authentic ’70s fits. Says Garbstore founder Ian Paley:
For our latest collaborating with Reebok Classic, we wanted to bring to life a collection that evokes memories of afternoons spent wasted browsing through the racks of our favorite local sporting good stores, looking for a sleek new running suit. In our minds, there was no better brand than Reebok to bring this nostalgia to life with.
Naturally, no Garbstore x Reebok drop would be complete without footwear and the two come correct, following up last season’s World Best and Ventilator II with a Workout Plus and Classic Phase — both of which are based off of some classic silhouettes from the era: the Classic Leather and Phase 2.
Garbstore and Reebok will kick off their Fall/Winter 2016 release this Friday, August 19, while additional drops are slated to arrive at retailers throughout the coming season.
