With Nintendo set to drop Super Mario Run any day now, the diminutive plumber has been in the headlines a lot of late. And last night’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon saw the video game’s iconic theme tune performed by The Roots alongside the series’s creator, Shigeru Miyamoto, who accompanied the band on acoustic guitar. The show also saw Nintendo’s U.S. president Reggie Fils-Aimé appear on screen to showcase the new Nintendo Switch console ahead of its release next year.
