If you’ve followed along the collaborative journey of A Ma Maniére, you’d notice that its launches go far beyond just the actual products. There’s always a story to tell, usually one that’s centered around Black culture and/or prioritizing community. In line with the former, A Ma Maniére has just announced its new Air Jordan 12 collection with Jordan Brand, and its latest initiative serves as a heartfelt love letter to the beauty and power of Black women.

To keep its shoe launch tradition alive, The Whitaker Group retailer released a short film tilted “She’s the Blueprint” that outlines the inspiration for the project. Giving them all of the flowers they deserve, James Whitner and his crew express their gratitude for Black women and their efforts to drive style and social consciousness forward, and this can be viewed down below.

Lined up on the products side are two colorways of the A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 12: one that is fitted in with a “Black/Burgundy” palette while the other is styled in “White/Burgundy.” The former is equipped with premium suede upper while the latter is dressed with premium leather uppers, and both are upgraded with quilted liners, AMM branding on the tongues, heels and metallic eyelets. Dropping alongside the kicks will be a co-branded MJ-print jacquard down-filled puffer, nylon Shirt and Pant set, a suede knit Tracksuit set, monogram jacquard Hoodies and tees.

To prioritize the ladies, AMM is giving women early access to the raffle from February 14-15 while the general public will can enter from February 16-19. The adult kicks will retail for $225 USD while the PS pairs are priced at $85 USD and TD priced at $65 USD will come in Black. The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 12 in Black and White, along with the apparel collection officially launch on February 24 at 11AM EDT on amamaniere.com.
