Last year, Pharrell Williams stomped into headlines with the introduction of the adidas Hu NMD S1 RYAT. As one of adidas’ most frequent collaborators, the project arrived as the next generation of Pharrell NMDs, a natural progression of both the Hu NMD sneaker and the new NMD S1 silhouette. Operating as a “cultural artifact and an object for humans pushing forward on our planet,” according to Williams, the Hu NMD S1 RYAT offers a bold new look backed by signature adidas technology such as BOOST.

Now, the shoe steps back into the spotlight with a new “Focus Olive” colorway. Its durable materials see various greens outfit the look while a soft pastel pink slips into the mix at the lining, heel and two of the midsole’s TPU plugs. Leather, suede and textile materials all appear alongside the sneaker’s typical transparent TPU cage. A full-length BOOST midsole is encased in the thick sole unit, supported by a rugged outsole that features a Trefoil-shaped grip designed for any terrain.

Select retailers such as Solebox have seemingly launched the pair early with an official adidas release set to take place on February 24 at a price of $250 USD.

In other footwear news, adidas is honoring Kareem Abdul-Jabbar with a limited-edition “Evolution of Excellence” collection of Forums.
